Facility Foreman

The role

Herauf Modular designs and manufactures residential, commercial and community buildings using a modular process. Established in 2018, we serve municipalities, Indigenous communities, private developers and corporate clients with buildings made to last.

We are looking for an experienced Facility Foreman to join our Regina team. The right person understands construction workflows from concept through completion, and can manage and oversee the daily workload inside the facility so every project is finished safely and efficiently.

What you will do

• Set daily work assignments and the schedule for the crew, with clear instructions for everyone involved.
• Monitor and manage schedules, budgets and inventory requirements for each project.
• Prepare and monitor accurate construction schedules aligned with project timelines.
• Make sure manpower and resources are available for the day's assignments.
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment, and manage equipment maintenance.
• Make sure all work on the floor meets safety and quality standards.
• Review blueprints and change orders so each project is built accurately.
• Maintain project schedules, weekly updates and internal reporting for leadership.
• Help manage project scope, and identify and head off risks, issues and delays.
• Manage security of the facility and its equipment, including opening and closing and making sure everyone has left.
• Meet regularly with the Project Manager and Site Superintendent on scheduling status for each project.

Preferred skills

• Experience working with municipalities and Indigenous communities.
• Certification in construction safety.
• Experience as a foreman in construction is an asset.

What you bring

• Three to five years of experience in construction or as a foreman.
• Enjoys leading a team and working with others.
• Strong understanding of modular manufacturing processes, building codes and foundation types.
• Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Able to multitask, organize and prioritize the workload.
• Can manage large scope projects and run a crew with several sub trades.
• Strong communication, organizational and detail oriented skills.
• Ability to lead goal oriented team meetings and keep the crew on schedule.
• Proven ability to supervise a team to finish projects within tight timelines.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Monday.com, Procore or similar.
• Valid Class 5 licence, and willing to travel to site locations when required.
