A finished Herauf ready-to-move home on a trailer, bound for Saskatoon
Zehner, SK

Built indoors, moved up Highway 11.

The whole house is framed, wired, plumbed and finished under a roof before it ever sees weather, which matters more in a Saskatoon build season than almost anything else on the schedule. Site work happens at the same time, so most projects reach move-in in about 16 weeks.

RTM or Modular

One piece, or several.

A ready-to-move home is built as one complete house and moved to your land in a single piece. A modular home is built as finished sections and joined on your foundation, which is how we reach wider layouts than a road will carry whole.

Both are built in the same facilities, to the same code, on the same schedule. Which one suits you comes down to the size of the house and what your route can take, and that is a conversation, not a form.

Common questions.

Does Herauf deliver RTM homes to Saskatoon?

Yes. Homes are built complete at the Zehner facility near Regina and moved to Saskatoon and the surrounding rural municipalities, then set on your prepared foundation.

Is an RTM home a good fit for a Saskatoon acreage?

It is one of the strongest cases for RTM. Rural sites are the hardest places to staff a conventional crew for months at a time, and a ready-to-move home arrives finished, so on-site work is measured in days.

How does an RTM home handle Saskatoon winters?

Every Herauf home is engineered to the National Building Code for climate zones 6 through 8, with a continuously insulated, airtight envelope and triple-pane low-E windows. The envelope is independently energy modelled.

Can I choose the floor plan?

Yes. Published plans run from compact single-bedroom homes to 1,344 sq ft three-bedroom layouts, and exterior colours, cladding and interior finishes are all selectable. Our team walks through the options when you request a quote.
