For developers and communities

Homes for each household.
A plan for the whole development.

Plan a mix of modular homes around your site and the people who will live there. Bring quantities, shared specifications and delivery phases into one project brief.

01 · Choose a mix

Compare published floor plans, bedrooms and sizes. Record repeat models and quantities, or ask the team to help develop the mix.

02 · Plan the phases

Identify the site, proposed delivery groups and target dates. Access, foundations, utilities and approvals shape a workable schedule.

03 · Review the scope

Herauf reviews the brief before confirming drawings, specifications, responsibilities, pricing and delivery. Sending a brief does not commit you to buy.

Housing, remote-community delivery and campus accommodation are different project types. These examples show the scope of the published work; each case study records its own requirements.

For several individual homes, use the housing schedule. For duplexes, multi-family buildings, workforce accommodation or a commercial facility, include the building use and number of dwellings or rooms in your brief.

Development planning questions

Can a development include different home models?

Yes. Record the models and quantities you want in your home schedule. Herauf reviews the combined requirements, finishes, site conditions and delivery plan before preparing a proposal.

Can we plan deliveries in phases?

Include your proposed phases and target dates in the project brief. Manufacturing availability, site readiness and transport access need to be reviewed together before dates are confirmed.

Is this the same as a multi-family building?

A housing development can contain several separate homes. A multi-family building contains multiple dwellings in one building. Herauf has a separate multi-family page; tell the team which arrangement your project requires.

Are foundations, utilities and delivery included?

These responsibilities are defined in the project proposal. Do not assume a home-only price includes foundations, site work, utility connections, transportation, crane placement, permits or taxes.

Can you deliver to northern communities?

Herauf has delivered housing to St. Theresa Point over winter ice roads and buildings to northern locations. Routes, site access and delivery windows are assessed for each project.

Do we need finished drawings to start?

No. Begin with the location, intended use, approximate quantity and target phases. Existing drawings, a site plan and community requirements help the team identify the next design and feasibility steps.
