Our Enderby plant is a 50,000 sq ft modular fabrication facility, purpose-built to serve British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest. Homes are produced complete in a controlled environment, protected from the weather that delays conventional sites.
Our Kelowna development head office handles sales, estimating, and project coordination, so every BC project has a single point of contact from first quote to final set-down.

Is a modular home the same as a prefab home?
Prefab, short for prefabricated, covers any home built off-site. A Herauf modular home is one kind: built indoors as finished sections to the National Building Code, meeting or exceeding CSA A277, then set on a permanent foundation in British Columbia. On that foundation it is real property, financed and insured like a site-built house.

Are Herauf modular homes built for the BC climate?
Yes. Units are engineered to the building code in force where they are installed, which in BC is the BC Building Code, with a continuously insulated, airtight envelope and triple-pane low-E windows, a high-performance envelope suited to BC's mountain and coastal conditions.
How quickly can a modular home be delivered in BC?
Most homes are manufactured and delivered in roughly 16 weeks, up to 50% faster than conventional construction, because the build proceeds in our Enderby facility while site work happens in parallel.
