What is relocatable workforce housing?
Relocatable workforce housing is accommodation built complete off-site on a steel skid, set on prepared ground in days without a poured foundation, and moved to the next project when the work ends. The difference from a camp trailer is that these are buildings, built to meet or exceed CSA A277 and the National Building Code, that happen to move.

Days on your lease
Units arrive complete, so crews are on site for days, not months. The building is on the production line while the site is prepared.
No poured foundation
The steel skid is the foundation. It is welded in Herauf's own shop, the unit travels on it and sets down on it, and a gravel pad and a level site are the ground work.
Moves when the project does
Plumbing, electrical and HVAC are self-contained, so when the work ends the same building is lifted onto a truck and goes to the next project.
Remote-ready
Delivered to sites across Alberta, Saskatchewan and the Northwest Territories. On a remote site the schedule advantage is larger, because trades never have to be flown in.

What kinds of buildings do you supply for camps and industrial sites?
Site offices, safety offices, on-site quarters with self-contained water and waste, workforce housing and dormitories, washroom and shower buildings, kitchens, and food and industrial storage. Published sizes run from 30' × 14' up to 55' × 18'.
Does relocatable workforce housing need a foundation?
No. The steel skid is the foundation. It is welded in Herauf's own shop, the unit travels on it, sets down on it on a gravel pad, and lifts off it again when the project ends.
How fast can camp buildings be set up?
Units arrive finished and are set in days. Most builds are manufactured and delivered in roughly 16 weeks, and because the building is made while the site is prepared, the approach runs 30 to 50% faster than building on site.
