Site Superintendent

The role

Herauf Modular designs and manufactures residential, commercial and community buildings using a modular process. Established in 2018, we serve municipalities, Indigenous communities, private developers and corporate clients with buildings made to last.

We are looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to join our Regina team. The right person has a solid background in construction and can supervise and manage the day to day workflow of modular construction projects inside our facility.

What you will do

• Oversee daily workflow, coordinating trades, subcontractors, materials and schedules.
• Manage and coordinate tasks against the schedule, and adjust to hit deadlines.
• Supervise the use of machinery and equipment, making sure safety precautions and quality standards are met.
• Monitor materials and scheduling so that manpower and resources are in place.
• Work with the Project Manager on cost estimates, schedules and budgets.
• Assist the Project Manager with foundation planning, site readiness checks, permitting workflows and utility coordination when needed.
• Lead meetings and communicate project status, priorities, risks and decisions.

Preferred skills

• Knowledge of permitting processes in Saskatchewan, Alberta, British Columbia and Manitoba.
• Experience working with municipalities and Indigenous communities.
• Certification in construction safety.

What you bring

• Three to five years of experience in a construction leadership role.
• Strong understanding of cost estimates, blueprints, building codes and foundation types.
• Experience working with engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication and supervisory skills.
• Ability to manage several projects at once, with strong problem solving.
• Proven organizational and detail oriented skills.
• Ability to lead goal oriented project team meetings.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Monday.com, Procore or similar.
• Valid Class 5 licence, and willing to travel to site locations when required.
