Building costs are climbing, and timelines keep slipping on conventional sites. To help communities and developers move projects forward, Herauf Modular is putting $15,000 toward eligible modular builds across Canada. This guide explains what the grant is, who qualifies, and how to apply.
What the grant is
The Infrastructure Grant applies $15,000 toward the cost of an eligible new modular build that uses Herauf Modular units. It is meant to lower the barrier to getting quality housing and community buildings off the ground, especially for projects that are ready to move within the current build season. Availability is limited, and final eligibility is confirmed by our team.
Who qualifies
The grant is open to a wide range of projects across Canada:
- Municipal projects: washrooms, recreation facilities, offices, and community buildings.
- Developers: residential, multi-family, and infill builds.
- First Nations and Métis communities: housing and community infrastructure.
- Private projects: homes, small homes, and luxury builds.
To qualify, the build needs to use Herauf Modular units, fall under residential, commercial, or community use, and be ready to proceed within the current build season.
What it can go toward
The $15,000 is applied toward the cost of your eligible Herauf Modular build, whether that is a single home, a multi-unit project, a daycare, a washroom facility, or a community building. Because our units are built complete in a controlled facility and delivered ready to set, the grant goes further: less site labour, fewer weather delays, and a faster path to occupancy.
How to apply
Applying takes about a minute. Submit your project details (site, project type, province or territory, and timeline) through the application form, or call our team directly. We review your information and confirm eligibility, usually within a few business days.
Start your application on the Infrastructure Grant page, or call 1.855.437.2838.
Why apply now
Grant availability is limited and subject to change through the build season. Manufacturing slots fill as projects are confirmed, so the earlier you apply, the better your chances of locking in both the grant and a delivery window that fits your timeline. If you are weighing a build for this year, it costs nothing to check your eligibility.
